Accounts Manager: Reseller 2

Accounts Manager enables resellers to create a new customer account, edit the account and delete the account.

Creating a new customer account

To create a new customer account reseller has to navigate Accounts Manager-> [Add New Account] button. The account creation has two pages, the first page has basic detail info and second page has service plan details.

Basic Info for setting up an Account

Basic info for setting up the account is listed below

Account Name

As the name indicates, it would be a name assigned to the account; it would be name of the organization or any alphanumeric values.

Email

A valid email address through which all the communications regarding the account will happen.

First Name and Last name

Reseller should enter first name and last name of the account administrator.

Contact Number

Reseller should add a valid contact number of the account administrator.

Service Plan for setting up an Account

On clicking the [Next] button in the basic info page, user will be navigated to service plan creation screen. Service plan details are mentioned below:

Plan Name

. Reseller will assign a unique name to the service plan and the service plan cannot be reused for other customers under the reseller.

Number of Users

This is the number of extensions for this account. Account administrator can update this value any time after login to their account. User can assign any number greater than “1”, the default value will be “1” for number of user.

Cost per User

The cost of one user for one month is entered in this field. Based on the number of users and cost per user an amount will deducted from the account balance at the time of creation of the account.

Account Balance

The Account balance displays the available credits in the account. At the time of creation of account, user will be able to add credits to the account.  This Action is performed using [Add credit] popup.

Select Rates

Select rate is a dropdown which allows reseller to select the rate sheets for the account. Rate sheet will have country name, country code and per minute call rate s. Use Rates Manager to create a new rate sheet.

Select Number

Select number is a popup where reseller can assign numbers to the customer account from the spare numbers available to the reseller. On assigning a number, customer’s account balance will be reduced based on the rate for a number.

Countries & Minutes

Customer will be able to make international calls only to coutries opened. Minutes associated with each country will be a bundled offer. Customer will be able to make free calls to the country opened until the minutes expire. If no minutes are given for a country  calls will charged based on the rate in the rate sheet.

After entering all details once user clicks on [Submit] button, new customer account will be created.

Editing an Account

To edit an existing account user has to navigate Accounts Manager-> [Accounts listings] page. The list of accounts under the reseller account will be listed in the page. Once user select an account from the list, [Edit] button will displayed.

Deleting an Account

User can delete an account from the accounts over view page. When user clicks on delete button, the account will be deleted.

Enabling or Disabling an Account

User can disable a customer account by selecting the account and clicking on [Disable] button and user can enable the account by selecting the account from list and clicking on the [Enable] button. The accounts which are disabled become inoperative so that customers will not be able to make calls through that account.

Invoices

From the accounts overview page, user will be navigated to Invoices page by clicking [Invoices] button. Invoices page displays all the invoices sent by the account during selected interval

Account Settings

User can navigate to accounts settings page by clicking on the [Accounts] from the Account Name dropdown, which has log out and Help as other dropdown. There are different sub menus in the accounts settings page which are listed below

User

User will be able to change the password by clicking on the password displayed in user tab. Use has to provide new password and confirm the new password and then click on [Save] button so that user will be able to change the password. The password change will be notified to the account administrator through email.

Account

Account tab is an information tab where user can view Account name, Account realm, Contact (email address and number).

Service Plan

Service plan will display the service plan details where user can view what are the services they have availed, how much each service would cost them and what is the monthly charge they need to pay based on the current plan.

Per Minute

Per Minute is a tabular report which has the details of all billed international calls. User can filter the report based on a date range. Also this report gives information on available credits, minutes used and total call charges for the account. Data will be shown only if customer had made any international calls which are billed as per rate sheet. No bundle minutes calls are shown here.

Transactions

Transactions are historical report of all transactions within a selected time frame. This report also gives information about the remaining account balance.

Bills

Bills allow the users to view all the bills received, within a selected time frame. User has the provision to see whether a bill is paid or unpaid. Based on the status user can pay the unpaid bills.
